Progress Clinical Research institute opens its doors in Amsterdam, Den Bosch and Zwolle July 1

More drug research delivers better quality of life for millions of people

Amsterdam, July 1, 2024

Research into promising medicines is needed. Every day, millions of people worldwide are waiting for a drug that can improve their quality of life. Countless scientists are working on new, smart solutions. Pharma and biotech companies are eager to do more research to get more new drugs approved as well. But where? Where to find the professional environment needed to achieve the best results? Where researchers form a link between developers, the medical community and participants, and where the knowledge is available to do drug research at a high level? Welcome to Progress Clinical Research!

Starting July 1, the research institute has opened its doors in Amsterdam, with branches in Den Bosch and Zwolle. A new name, however not a new company. Because with more than 15 years of experience in phase 2 and 3 drug research, the team has long since proven itself. As Brain Research Center it established its name with research into promising drugs against brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Brain Research Center continues to exist, but has expanded by establishing Progress Clinical Research. Based on the belief that doing professional, high-quality drug research is specialized work, where focus is essential. In an environment that feels like home.

“We have been working very effectively with Brain Research Center for many years,” says John Alam,  CEO of Cervomed from Boston, USA. With their state-of-the-art facilities, they enable us to conduct trials efficiently for the development of our drug portfolio. We have had very positive interactions with the committed team, from contracts to coordinators to the investigators. I am convinced that the same will apply for all Progress Clinical Research trials”

At Progress Clinical Research, employees collaborate with affiliated specialists in hospitals, however trial participants don’t need to visit the hospital to participate. No white coats. No clinical hospital waiting rooms, but participating in research that can save lifes in a home-like atmosphere. The more trials, the greater the chance of finding the right drug.

The appreciation for the work is there. Participants are very satisfied, given an average rating of 8.9. Pharma and biotech companies also know how to find Progress Clinical Research already, because they know how valuable a reliable partner in conducting research is. And in the medical world, too, the research institute hopes to quickly gain awareness.

Jeane Prins-Bredman (participant) says: ‘What I like about participating in medicine research is that I am well supported and that an eye is kept on how my disease is developing.’

You get further by working together. Progress Clinical Research believes in that connection, in that mission to bring the solution ever closer through drug research.
