Niels Prins, MD, PhD is the director of Progress Clinical Research. He and his colleagues are committed to conducting research for promising new treatments in various therapeutic areas because he knows that clinical drug research can make a difference.
Ad Hoeks is responsible for the overall operations of Progress Clinical Research.
Samantha Prins is Associate Director Business Development, supporting the acquisition, contracting and set-up of clinical trials. She is the first point of contact for potential clients wanting to work with Progress Clinical Research. As a Senior Start-up Specialist, Samantha also is part of the start-up department of Progress Clinical Research.
Marco is Finance Manager at Progress Clinical Research. He is responsible for all financial processes within our organisation.
With an academic background in biopharmaceutical sciences, Laura Bruins, MSc, as a Clinical Trial Start-Up Specialist, is responsible for contracting and initiating trials at all Progress Clinical Research sites. She also facilitates the submission process to the METC and the competent authority, CCMO, from Progress Clinical Research’s perspective by providing essential submission documents. Along with other Start-Up & BD colleagues, she serves as the point of contact for potential partners looking to collaborate with Progress Clinical Research, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Ester Verkerk is HR Manager at Progress Clinical Research. She is responsible for human resources management of the three sites.
As the Quality Manager, Joep Schepens oversees quality control and regulatory compliance within clinical trials. Serving as the primary contact for quality-related inquiries, Joep ensures that all processes adhere to the highest standards and regulations.
As the Brand Manager, Michael Vuong is responsible for brand identity and marketing activities. Serving as the primary contact for all brand-related matters, she ensures that both the brand and marketing strategies are consistently and effectively implemented, both offline and online. With extensive expertise in marketing, a comprehensive approach is adopted that encompasses all aspects of marketing.
Astrid Heeling is a Finance Assistant at Brain Research Center. She supports all financial processes within the Brain Research Center.
Amsterdam site
Kim Verheul is Site Manager at Progress Clinical Research Amsterdam. She is responsible for the daily management of the Amsterdam site.
She is a nurse who coordinates and conducts visits of multiple clinical trials, being responsible for the planning and progress of the research.
Sabine Stal works at the Front Office of Progress Clinical Research Amsterdam.
Arwand Harian conducts neuropsychological research for Progress Clinical Research in Amsterdam. She takes neuropsychological exams at various clinical trials. She also conducts questionnaires with the caregiver and/or partner of the participant and works on pre-screening

Den Bosch site
Paul Dautzenberg, MD, PhD is medical director of Progress Clinical Research Den Bosch. He is in charge of the clinical team and all medical aspects of the studies.
Dr. Paul Dautzenberg also works as a clinical geriatrician at the Jeroen Bosch Hospital.
Ylse van Son is part of the team of study coordinators at Progress Clinical Research in Den Bosch. She is a nurse who coordinates and conducts visits of multiple clinical trials, being responsible for the planning and progress of the trial.
